As I have helped to develop the OASIS open-source ad serving platform, I have frequently been asked, "Hey Aaron, why is there no conversion tracking feature in OASIS?". Good question. In most cases, campaign ROI cannot be determined without conversion information. The answer is that there has simply not been a pressing need from actual advertisers to track conversions, so the feature has not made its way into the product.
